Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP)

The term 'Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP)' as it applies to the area of energy can be defined as ' An indirect measure of the rate at which petroleum liquids evaporate. Its the absolute vapor pressure of a crude oil, or of single or mixed liquid petroleum products, as measured by the Reid Method (ASTM Method D 323)'.
